Experience and Personal Attributes: 
The ideal candidate is required to obtain a track record of successful sales and strong commercial understanding in the above-mentioned segments. This candidate will be able to develop markets, recruit new customers while increasing
sales to existing customers and distributors in Germany and Benelux. 
At least five years of proven, successful experience in a sales/product development position in a B2B environment in Europe. 
Strong overview and track record of food ingredient sales and marketing to at least one of the following industries, food & beverage, pet food, animal feed and nutraceutical manufacturing companies. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German. Additional languages are an advantage. 
Experience with sales, excellent overall business and negotiating skills and an entrepreneurial mind-set 
Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve problems. 
Ready to travel extensively, manage a flexible work schedule and obtains a license to drive in Europe. 


Specific responsibilities
Intensive development and identification of market potential: identifying potential customers and their needs in all relevant industries, identifying new opportunities, and managing these new projects. 
Negotiate terms of business relationships including new contracts and new deals. 
In-charge of the day-to-day activity with existing and new customers in the defined territory, including pricing and negotiation, logistic and quality. 
Monitor all existing sales contracts in the sales area and report to the company’s VP Global Sales and Marketing. 
Work closely with the Development and marketing teams of the company. 
Communicate needs of the customers/markets to the company’s Management and sales teams and communicate 
Capabilities to customers. 
Education:
BSc/BA in Chemistry, Food science, agricultural science, or other natural science. 
MBA is an advantage 
Residence Location:
Germany/Benelux
