Your tasks & responsibilities:
Assessment and improvement of existing and conception and development of new (controlling) processes, reportings and tools in close cooperation with other departments to accommodate the required growth and advancement of the
finance department and the PAION group
Support in migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to SAP in close cooperation with other departments
Preparation of monthly management reports
Controlling of cost centers and cost units
Detailed tracking of income and expenses versus budget and contractual arrangements
Support in/conduct of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
Support in/conduct of annual budgeting, planning and forecasting
Ongoing update of forecasts
Preparation of project calculations
Ad-hoc analyses


Your profile:
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s or ideally Master’s degree in Finance/Controlling (or comparable)
Detailed understanding of Finance processes and relevant links and interfaces with other disciplines
Experience with internal reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Experienced in working with SAP
Very strong analytical and operational skills
Good understanding of external accounting
“Hands-on” mentality
Stress resilience and the ability to work under pressure
Strong technical understanding and IT skills, particularly MS Excel
High level of communication skills, initiative and teamwork
Good general business understanding and links and interfaces to other departments
Business fluent in English and German
Desired skills:
Experience in SAP implementation is a big plus
Experience in working in companies with international physical flows of goods
Experience in working in an international group of companies with intercompany service provision
Ideally working experience in the pharma industry
Experience in project management
