We are looking to appoint a Sales Support Engineer for our Bids & Proposal team for Telecommunication solutions who will be responsible for commercial, legal and technical aspects of large and complex tender projects. You support the sales managers presenting offers and supervise in contract negotiations at the customer site. Do you combine solid com­muni­cation and engineering skills with a strong customer focus? Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the creation of commercially, legally and technically optimized and correct system offers within com­plex projects, based on the specifications of our international customers
• Strategic definition of the scope of delivery
• Solicitation process with the subcontractor
• Cost calculation and determination of the sales price in cooperation with Sales
• Timely bid proposal management
• Support of sales in contract negotiation on site
• Preparation of documents for tender review and risk review
• Regular feedback to product managers and tools group

Requirements

• Successful diploma and further education, preferably in the Communication Technology or Telecommunication Engineering area
• Ideally, first experience in sales, proposals or sales support; graduates may also be considered
• Ideally, some know-how in broadband or narrowband communi­cation technology
• Experience in utility communications considered an advantage
• Fluent in German and English, French or Spanish are an advan­tage
• Good technical thinker when it comes to systems
• Commercial understanding and strength in negotiating
• Initiative and organizational talent
• Interested in working within an international team
