PCB PRODUCT MANAGER (M/F/D) with focus on Technology Transfer to China



 

SCHWEIZER is a leading international manufacturer of innovative high-tech printed circuit boards for automotive, industrial, solar and aviation electronics. The company was founded in Schramberg in 1849 and employs around 800 people in one of the most modern production facilities for printed circuit boards.



Functions:

  • Technology Development and Transfer of Inlay PCB Technologies (Power Electronics)
  • Technology Development and Transfer of Semiconductor Embedding PCB Technologies (Power Electronics)
  • Technology Development and Transfer of RF PCB Technologies (RF Electronics)



Goal:

  • Product development together with the customer according to the project contract
  • Planning and coordination of the development of economic products – insurance of the project goals on time, on budget and on scope – in accordance with the quality management system, environmental requirements and measures to avoid accidents
  • Technology transfer from Germany to China; Multiplicator from Germany to China NPI (New Product Introduction) and PCB Process team



Tasks:

  • Development within the project contract according to the Schweizer project management process – incl. project controlling & escalation if goals are in danger to be missed
  • Transfer of the developed product into the Schweizer standard organization with focus on Schweizer China
  • Alignment and cooperation with process engineering team to implement required new process, equipment or changes
  • Dividing the project into work-packages and controlling the project progress and necessary resources with regards to on time, on scope, and on budget to insure the success of the project
  • Identify the customer demands and special requirements of the product (including interactions); Answer engineering questions (EQs)
  • Production of prototypes, samples, and pre-series parts - including requesting the respective control plans
  • Ensuring that the product requirements can be met, especially in regards to process capabilities (cpk) and qualification requirements
  • Technical documentation for transfer to mass production
  • Coordination and back-up for ramp up phase
  • Development of new process flows and manufacturing procedures



Qualifications:

  • University degree of applied sciences or professional with additional qualifications
  • Preferred subjects: process technology, industrial engineer, physics, electronics, or similar qualification
  • Good English speaking capabilities are an absolute must
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years: technical experience, preferably in the PCB industry, electronics and/or semiconductor industry
    • 3-5 years: project management
    • Preferably experience/knowledge in semiconductor, power/RF electronics

Additional Requirements:

  • Willing to locate for minimum 1 year (preferably 2 years) to Schramberg, Germany with followed stationing in our new Plant in Jintan, China for at least 3 to 5 years
