The Chairman’s Office Europe (COE) is supporting and coordinating our operating units, R&D centres and representative offices across Europe with corporate functions and services. Regional HR BP - Labor Relations (m/w/d)



Your tasks.

  • Be the specialist for employment law related issues in the Europe region including works council meetings, bargaining agreements, local labor law regulations, social security systems, etc.
  • Support the business units on labor relations topics when needed i.e. restructuring projects.
  • Be the main counterpart from HR side supporting the M&A team on the planning and execution of M&A transactions.
  • Participate when necessary in negotiations with works councils, unions and business meetings, following the correct procedures for setting agreements.
  • Participate and lead projects within Europe dealing with a variety of employment law topics and providing strategic counsel. When needed, liaise and involve internal or external advisors on specific topics.
  • Drafting and implementing employment policies and define standards for the region in close cooperation with HR teams and stakeholders across Europe.
  • Support the business in other ongoing HR projects for the region or in a global scope.


Your profile.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or related disciplines ideally with a focus on employee and labor law.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in multinational environment as a Specialist in Labor/Industrial Relations high matrix organizations.
  • Experience with M&A projects and/or Comp&Ben is highly valued.
  • Knowledge and thorough understanding of rules and regulations governing employment law and social security in Europe.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate organizational needs into strategies and solutions for the business.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, autonomy and confidence in making decisions.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English. German knowledge is a plus.
