For our Marketing department in Germany, Munich Area, we are looking for an Associate Marketing Manager


Under general supervision, the Associate Market Manager coordinates and implements marketing programs, training materials, promotions and sales events/trade shows and associated communications for their respective channel and/or market. In this role you report into the EMEA Marketing Director and the Country Manager Germany.


Responsibilities/ Tasks:

  • Responsible for understanding channel partners market, their overall sales and marketing goals and objectives, as well as key strengths and challenges, etc.
  • Works closely with marketing/sales management leads to gather market information, build/coordinate and implement marketing plans, fielding project requests and facilitating creative needs.
  • Coordinate required marketing materials for clients, trade shows, events, sales meetings, etc
  • Manage artwork requests from inception through completion.
  • Execute and maintain the brand’s overall image through marketing initiatives and support materials including point of sale.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for sales teams, customers, and internal use as needed
  • Closely monitor marketing budget
  • Gather and document reporting and analysis requirements in support of business partner requests and/or project needs, i.e. promotional campaigns.
  • Evaluate process/procedures, recommend, implement and manage solutions to improve effectiveness of US Marketing/Brand Operations team
  • Recommend and manage or participate in the development of Sales and Marketing tools based on trends and patterns of inquiries
  • Stay informed of departmental/divisional plans and tactics
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year accredited college or university in Marketing, Business Administration or related field or equivalent training, education and experience required
  • 3 years prior experience in marketing required
  • Knowledge of eyewear industry or experience in fashion accessory field is preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to write and present clear and concise reports 
  • Ability to elevate the perception of our brand and our company
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, business decision making skills and working in a team environment
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in German and English
  • Strong organization skills, detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing large projects
  • Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction
  • Travel domestic and international may be required
  • Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
