BTA, CTA, Laboratorian - Production, Nucleotides, SOPs (m/f/d)

• Manufacture items in accordance to applicable SOPs
• Follow production schedules and align with team members to assure on-time delivery of finished products
• Perform assays to assure that products meet existing requirements for purity, activity and functionality
• Perform laboratory maintenance and cleaning activities
• Assist fellow lab staff and perform additional tasks/ projects as required
• Participate in production group meetings
• Participate on cycle counts
• Follow existing quality system policies for data recording and record keeping
• Understand and comply with ethical, legal, safety and other regulatory requirements

• Good language skills in German and English (writing, speaking, reading, hearing)
• General understanding of good laboratory practice
• Ability to read, understand and comply with SOPs
• Ability to communicate results and to interact productively with team members
• Computer proficiency (MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Unicorn)
• Well-organized, able to manage multiple projects, calm under pressure

• Education as biological or chemical laboratory assistent (BTA, CTA), higher degree (B.Sc.), or equivalent
• Experience with analytical techniques and equipment (e.g. densitometry, TLC, spectrophotometer, gel electrophoresis, HPLC)
• Experience in operating ÄKTA-systems or other FPLC/ HPLC systems is desirable
• Experience in biochemical separations and chromatographic techniques is desirable
• Experience of working in a quality regulated laboratory environment (e.g. ISO 13485) is desirable

• Must be able to use regularly standard laboratory protective equipment (e.g. googles, lab coat, protective gloves, etc.) and occasionally further protective equipment like ear protection, protective respirators
• Must be able to work with hazardous materials (e.g. chemical, electric equipment) so as not to endanger oneself or others
• Must be able to work at a laboratory bench for extended periods of time
• Must be able to use computers in an interactive manner for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work with ladders and pallet trucks in limited space
• Must be able to lift up to 30 kg.
