Your key responsibilities will include managing R&D projects as well as product and manufacturing process improvements in our oligonucleotide production. Among other things, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Plan, execute and document R&D projects together with the team
• Ensure a state-of-the-art production process by applying the best technologies and the latest novelties from research and development
• Report directly to the head of R&D
• Help your R&D fellows to plan, execute and document the qualification of new machines and lab equipment according to the current industry quality standards
• Structure the validation of processes and new products based on existing client needs
• Communicate regular project updates to your manager and management
• Support the department with you R&D skills ensuring the strong company growth

• You are passionate about technology, biology and chemistry
• You master the daily challenge of incremental changes to fill the mosaic instead of always aiming for the next big thing
• You proudly own a master or PhD in Chemistry (preferred), Biology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology
• You look back on a proven track record in the development for oligonucleotide synthesis, solid phase DNA synthesis, peptide synthesis or the according analysis methods of at least 3 years
• Your curious mind fluently thinks and expresses itself in English and German
• You enjoy to structure plans and execute always in time, quality and budget
