Solution Development Manager for Weed Management (m/f/d)

• Responsible for the trial program to evaluate new problem solutions for weed management in non-agricultural market segments such as railway and industrial sites based on new active ingredients, biologicals or any other non-chemical control technology
• Evaluate digital technologies to identify and monitor or map unwanted vegetation
• Analyze and consolidate biological efficacy data and elaboration of the technical profile of new weed control solutions as well as the results of novel application technologies and their precision
• Provide technical guidance to the discussion on product or solution concepts and the final use pattern, which is jointly set with the cross functional project teams, country and regional teams
• Provide the technical guidance and support for market launch and beyond to key countries and regions based on your profound knowledge and stewardship experience
• Contribute to the definition of new research targets, development of integrated solutions and Life Cycle Management strategies for the weed management portfolio by providing clear value propositions for customers and addressing future customer's needs
• Guide specialized Scientists and Technicians working on your projects and responsibility and accountability for defining the project budget and follow up on the expenditures
• Collaborate with a worldwide technical expert community to ensure Know-how transfer and cross fertilization and speed to market and efficiency

• University degree in agricultural science, herbology or related biological science with relevant working experience
• Sound knowledge in Vegetation Management, weed identification, trial planning and result analysis, digital weed recognition and mapping or a related science
• Highly effective organization-, planning- and communication skills
• Excellent ability to transfer trial and technical information into product concepts
• Experience, motivation, and willingness to guide and work in multifunctional and multicultural teams and with internal and external partners around the globe
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
