Associate Scientist Bioinformatics (m/w/d)- Collaborate with R&D staff to collect, parse, clean and standardize experimental data derived from a variety of devices and/or manual input
- Analyze and evaluate experimental data to provide information for client reports or scientific publications
- Develop and expand machine learning pipelines
- Help extend and develop software for use by R&D scientists, such as databases, APIs, and simple web tools
- Proactively help the team improve communication, internal processes, remove impediments, and enhance knowledge transfer
- Scientific degree (MSc or equivalent) in math, physics, data science, or a life science degree. A PhD is a plus
- Scientific mindset, experience with sparse data from lab experiments
- Advanced skills in either python or R. Additional experience with java, C#, or C++ is a plus
- The previous mastery of any highly technical topic, as demonstrated through achievements, teaching, or online examples (e.g. link to github, stackoverflow, kaggle) is a plus
- Willingness to learn the foundations of biopharmaceutical formulation development. Previous experience in a related field is a plus, (e.g. biostatistics, protein biochemistry, structural biology, molecular dynamics, molecular modelling, chromatography, mass spectrometry, sequence or clinical data analysis)
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or German as well as enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary and international environment

Here, you will learn and apply the highest standards from the software industry, utilizing scrum, pair-programming, code-review, and effective testing.
