Then join our team of successful drug hunters as Research Scientist in the Medicinal Chemistry department at our main research site in Biberach an der Riß, Germany.
In this role, you will contribute to our multidisciplinary drug discovery teams in human pharma across all phases of research, from hit finding to candidate delivery.
Your responsibilities will continuously increase with your growing expertise and management skills with the outlook to lead a medicinal chemistry laboratory.

Tasks & responsibilities- In your new role, you analyze complex data sets to generate structure-activity relationships and hypotheses for optimization.
- You design biologically active compounds, prioritize target compounds and plan and execute their synthesis.
- Additionally, you provide scientific support and technical training of research associates.
- You contribute to interdisciplinary, partially global research teams with the goal to identify novel drugs.
- You discuss, present and publish research results internally and externally.
- PhD in preparative organic chemistry. Postdoctoral experience in synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry or related sciences is a plus.
- Comprehensive and state of the art knowledge of modern synthetic methodologies as well as a basic understanding of molecular properties
- Successful delivery of results, both self-sufficiently and in team settings
- Intercultural abilities, ideally shown by experience abroad.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English as well as willingness to adopt a basic command of the German language.
