We are looking to recruit - at the earliest possibility - a
Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Corn & Sunflower for the business unit (BU) Corn Europe, in full-time and for an unlimited contract. You will be part of the Business Development activities for the business unit corn Europe of
KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA at the headquarters in
Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany).
Your tasks - challenge meets responsibility:- Evaluate new business ideas and bring them to life: Determine and challenge new business opportunities in the areas of seed, seed treatments, feeding, digital tools/ services, sales and licensing. Support the decision-making process by structuring and providing relevant data and analytics. Be part of the implementation team.
- Lead, steer and support business development projects
- Organize, implement, and track the strategic planning of the business unit. Track relevant KPIs to determine target level achievement.
- Manage R&D related projects and business cases as the interface between R&D and our markets
- Manage and implement business intelligence data and -platforms to align cross functional- and cross BU-data
- Be part of organizational change: Establish agile project related and cross-functional/ -country teams
Your profile - competence meets personality: - Degree of business administration with an agricultural background, agriculture or or a comparable degree
- Strong agricultural know-how with understanding of the agricultural input industry and the respective markets
- Professional experience in a comparable position with experience in consulting or business development is an advantage
- Experience in working in complex structures and international context
- Excellent project management skills across regional and cultural boundaries with the ability to work collaboratively
- Very good project management skills across regional and cultural borders with the ability to work collaboratively
- Strong analytical and data assessment skills
- Very good language skills in English (German is an asset)
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication
- Experience in relevant IT systems (MS Office, Data Management tools)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
