This is what you can do- Definition aircraft high voltage AC and DC harness requirements and specification.
- Wire insulation, separation and segregation rules. Harness installation rules.
- Electromagnetic Interference, High Intensity Radiated Fields.
- Aircraft, Flight Crew and Ground Personnel Safety: High Voltage Systems
- Create guidelines and processes for the development of High Voltage EWIS
- Serve as technical lead for electrical system designs/architectures, while fostering innovative and creative design solutions.
- Update guidelines for the integration and installation of high Voltage EWIS in the aircraft
- Establish System Safety requirements for high Voltage EWIS
- Support qualification and ground test activities for high Voltage EWIS e.g. EMI or HIRF
- Develop, manage and interpret testing for the purpose of risk mitigation.
- Develop system requirements for electrical systems based on project objectives.
- Design systems with architectures and interfaces that safely and effectively meet requirements.
- Design system-to-system components and processes to connect key components including fuel cells, motor, battery charging, sensor selection, system safety, etc.
- Coordinate and manage electrical system suppliers in the development, integration, and testing of power generation and distribution systems.
You’ll bring this with you - Master’s Degree in Electric, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in aerospace or relevant industry
- Previous experience in aircraft development or projects of similar complexity
- Expert in EWIS development and certification
- Experience in EMI and HIRF beneficial
- Familiar with EASA Part 21J and CS-25/FAR 25, especially CS-25 Subpart H
- FMEA/FTA/FHA and experience with 25.1309
- Fluent in English. Fluency in German or additional languages is beneficial
- Excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of structuring and organizing work in efficient and effective manner
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality
- Technical problem-solving and decision-making ability
