  • Perform trade studies for detailed design development and modification of mechanical inlets and fluid system installations to improve cooling performance, engine efficiency and drag optimization at engine level and at aircraft level
  • Support the development and documentation of requirements for engine cooling and ventilation as well as aircraft level drag optimization
  • Has experience in applying first principles analysis to cryogenic systems
  • Participate Actively in a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers for all aspects of a complex project to satisfy the cryogenic, mechanical, electrical, controls requirements
  • Provide thermodynamic and heat transfer analysis including determination of heat loads, head budgets and the development of design, and verification activities on both system and component levels
  • Experience with Pressure Vessel design regulations
You’ll bring this with you
  • M.Sc./M.Eng. or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline required
  • 10+ years of professional experience using CFD & and thermal aerodynamic development codes
  • 10+ years in CS.23/25 and/or CS.27/29
  • In-depth knowledge of Propulsion Integration topics , Aerodynamics and Engine Cooling and ventilation
  • Software tools: FEM, CFD, MS Project, CATIA V5
