You have a clear idea of what you want: To contribute to the vision of safe and energy-efficient flying, in a team of like-minded aviation enthusiasts who are determined to shape the future of aviation.This is what you can doWe are looking for you as a passionate Senior Development Engineer Standard Parts (f/m/d) to establish and maintain our standard parts catalogue and respective CATIA models. You will report to the Head of DMU / Design Integration.
Your responsibilities in this role include:
  • Coordinates and steers all standard parts for utilization in 328eco project and establish 328SSG Standard Parts Catalogue
  • Reduce and limit number of standards for one use/function in 328eco and reduce cost (volume effect)
  • Specify e.g. standard-brackets, regalement to be utilized standard brackets in CATIA => avoid every designer uses •is own designed brackets”
  • Ensure availability of standard parts in E3.series (Zuken) and maintenance & development of E3.series database
  • Define process and procedure for standard part usage (DON, DOLN vs. MS, NAS…)
  • Implement Form/Fit/Function class into PDM/SAP and ensures availability of 3D models of standard parts in CATIA / DMU
You’ll bring this with you
  • Engineering degree (MA Eng/Sc, Dr./PhD.) in design, aviation or mechanical
  • 10+ years professional expertise in relevant fields of aircraft development and airframe design
  • Very good experience in field of PLM/PDM process and tool skills, ideally in ENOVIA, SmarTeam
  • In-depth knowledge of CATIA V5 (2D/3D) R28 and basic knowledge in CATIA V6/3D Experience, CADAM
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Very good presenting, communication and leadership skills, fluent in English, German is a plus
