We are searching for a

with focus on analytical and science driven product development for our Applied Research group in the Research & Technology Department of the Flavor & Nutrition segment.

Objective of position:

The Project Manager position is dedicated to apply comprehensive analytical expertise of foods, flavorings and raw materials to develop new innovative and sustainable product solutions. The position also requires strong interdisciplinary communication skills to internal and external stake holders, and the ability to fascinate and convince people for teaming up.

• Development of cutting-edge analytical tools for high level analysis of foods and flavorings
• Interpretation of analytical data across various disciplines and strong linkage to sensory attributes
• Presentation of results to customers and project teams
• Alignment with other technical teams in Holzminden and the regions
• Implementation of novel data science approaches by means of statistical software tools

• PhD in Food Science or Food Technology or Analytical Chemistry with excellent theoretical and practical expertise in natural product chemistry
• International working experience would be an advantage
• Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken); advanced French language skills are a benefit
• High interest and ambition to explore new technical opportunities with the aim to develop new products
• Affinity to statistical tools and data science is helpful
• Willingness to travel and work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Communicative competencies with a high level of interpersonal skills
