Would you like to work on modern technologies in the field of "Digital Farming Solutions" and significantly change agriculture with us? KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is seeking for a Digital Farming Solutions Expert (m/f/d) to join our International AgroService team in the field of sugarbeet as soon as possible. The International AgroService is the scientific backbone of agronomic consulting in sugarbeet and contributes agronomic expertise to research and development projects. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive the transformation of our agronomic expertise to model-based consulting tools on the myKWS platform for digitalization of consulting approaches for growers. The work location is in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany), furthermore this exciting position will be permanent and full-time.Your area of responsibility:

• Development of digital farming solutions for our sugarbeet business.
• Active implementation of agronomic knowledge into digital consulting tools:

-Development of consulting applications based on modelled crop parameters
-Planning and leading field trials for ground truthing on international level
-Project ownership from idea creation down to the successful implementation of the final solution in target markets

• Close exchange with KWS trial stations and specialist departments, such as phenotyping, biostatistics (modeling), IT, digital solutions and marketing communications
• Connecting with our international network of sugarbeet experts to screen for market developments, use-cases as well as cooperation partners to conduct joint projects and trials

Your Profile - competence meets personality:

• Scientific degree in agriculture, agricultural engineering, biology, geography or a comparable course of study
• Several years of professional experience in an Agricultural and Digital Farming related area ideally based on crop modelling for agriculture
• Sound knowledge about agriculture and farming practices
• Strong passion for digital solutions and Apps
• Excellent team player and good communication skills
• High drive to collaborate in international teams to successfully develop customer-oriented crop management projects
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, other additional language skills, eg. In Russian, German, French or Spanish are an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally
