Our devices and blood collection systems are used in the fields of transfusion medicine and biotherapy found in blood banks of the Red Cross, hospitals and university hospitals. • Performs prototyping (and eventually pre-series testing) and evaluates products under real conditions (filtrations of blood)
• Working alongside engineers to develop new products and systems
• Qualifies, validates and uses equipment and methods for which he has responsibility
• Performs maintenance, or ensures maintenance has been performed, on equipment under his responsibility
• May have contact with external partners or suppliers
• Trains new staff in the use of equipment
• Develops and validates new techniques
• Writes test protocols analyses results using proprietary software (Excel etc.) and prepares reports of testing performed
• Performs laboratory and pre-industrialisation testing
• Maintains a laboratory workbook

• apprenticeship as a chemistry or biologist lab technician
• 2 years experience in a similar laboratory technician role.would be an advantage
• Good general knowledge of standard scientific laboratory equipment
• Working knowledge of basic statistical processes and software (e.g. use of Minitab or similar)
• Process oriented with ability to reliably follow procedures
• Good understanding of metrology and GLP
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills, both written and oral
• Fluent German and English skills, knowledge of French would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays / driving license of class B
• Readiness to travel to HQ in France
