In this position you will be part of a highly skilled team of experts aiming to ensure excellence in engineering and production processes with high impact on quality, efficiency and transferability to other sites. The position is the divisional key interface between local and global process owners and corporate functions including Quality and IT.
Home base for this position will be the global center of Biopharma Engineering & Technology in Biberach an der Riss, Germany or Vienna (Applicants from Vienna need to accept a period of vocational adjustment at Biberach site)

Tasks & responsibilities- In your key global role you will lead and guide the development and standardization of efficient and innovative engineering processes with focus on equipment reliability, maintenance and calibration and ensure that these are GxP compliant as well as efficiently supported by digital platforms
- Together with your peers at production sites on three continents, you will leverage global collaboration as well as the exchange of know-how within the Global Department Engineering & Technology to create synergies
- With keeping an eye on the effective use of asset management systems, you will convincingly advocate a data- and object-driven view of all relevant maintenance processes and introduce measurable and meaningful performance indicators that increase asset availability and cost efficiency
- As a "Divisional Management System Owner" for maintenance, calibration and utilities, you will represent the Biopharma business unit in a key internal GMP role and be the central interface between local and global process owners, quality and corporate functions
- You will actively promote and participate in technology innovation programs to improve our engineering and manufacturing processes and communicate effectively with your internal and external partners
Requirements - Master´s degree in an engineering science e.g. process engineering, mechatronics, automation or equivalent professional career
- Several years of experience in engineering, project management or production applying cGMP requirements
- Data-oriented thinking and in-depth knowledge of reliability, maintenance, calibration and common asset management applications such as SAP PM
- Ideally, experience in business process optimization and expertise in the application of risk management tools and target-oriented decision-making
- Motivational and mentoring skills and good understanding of international and interdisciplinary groups for leading project teams and foster cross-site collaboration ac. Ability and willingness to coach peers.
- Willingness to travel or stay abroad for business trips in the context of projects are expected
- Effective and empathic communication skills (fluent in English and ideally German)
