Embedded Software Architekt (m/w/d)

As an Embedded Software Architect (m/f/d) you are a key figure and support the team with your technical expertise in order to achieve the common goals in embedded software development. In doing so, you will be able to coordinate the teams technically, help craft new topics and regularly exchange ideas for collaboration with the other Viessmann sites.

• Sustainable modeling of the SW architecture with UML/SysML as well as coordination and documentation of the solution finding for software architecture decisions
• Creation of a modular SW architecture and ensuring a high reusability of the software on different ECUs
• Analysis and optimization of the existing software architecture
• Identification and standardization of interfaces for feature implementation as well as compatibility management of software and its interfaces
• Creation of software specifications based on system requirements

You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, assertiveness, quality awareness and passion for innovative technologies. To ensure that you are also successful in your job, we are also looking for:

• A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or control engineering or similar.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development of embedded systems
• Extensive knowledge in (model-based) software engineering as well as software development methods and tools. Furthermore, confident software programming and quality assurance at various test levels.
• Familiar with software requirements, architectures and concepts
• Knowledge of programming language C/C++
• Very good knowledge of German and English
