To support this process, our client is looking for a “Developer Digital Twin (f/m/d)“. If you are passionate about the development of dynamic simulation models and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams with software developers, process engineers and production managers in order to realize our vision of fully automated production, you and our client are a perfect match.

Your tasks- Development of dynamic simulation models and related control algorithms
- by combining your basic understanding of process engineering, your knowledge of mathematical modeling approaches and your knowledge of typical simulation tools with process data
- by modularization of your simulation models and control algorithms to make them scalable
- Design and optimization of basic control algorithms, such as PID control structures or sequential function charts
- Development and validation of sophisticated control algorithms such as state estimators, model predictive controllers, event-discrete fully automated schedulers and real-time optimizations.
- Selection of suitable modeling tools and the design of a cloud-based engineering environment
- Coordination and support of the rollout for the simulation tools / models
- Update of control algorithms and interfaces (interface management)
Your profile - Master or PhD in engineering with a strong focus on process modeling and automation and experience in dynamic modeling of processes
- Basic understanding of model formalisms (e.B. DAE, ODE systems, symbolic vs. numerical solution methods)
- Knowledge of empirical modeling methods, such as partial least squares, neural networks, experience in design of experiments
- Mathematical understanding and practical experience with modern control algorithms, such as model predictive control, scheduling, real-time optimization, dynamic real-time optimization and relevant tools such as DMC+, Profit Controller, gDAP or comparable
- Experience with integrated CAE engineering environments such as COMOS, Aucotec or EPLAN
- Hands on mentality and open to interdisciplinary and culturally diverse teamwork
- Ability to travel international from your location as required; fluent in English; German and/or Polish appreciated
