Biologist - Immunic's development projects (m/f/d)

Immunic AG is a Nasdaq-listed, value-driven and dynamic biotechnology company with a pipeline of selective oral immunology therapies located in Gräfelfing (near Munich). We are developing new therapies with best-in-class potential for the treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Currently, we have three small molecule products in different stages of clinical development.

We are looking for a Medical / Molecular Biologist / Immunologist as

for an unlimited full-time or part-time (at least 30h/week) position in order to reinforce our Gräfelfing/Munich based team. You would be working in a team with experienced scientists and support our Chief Scientific Officer.

• Be responsible for the scientific program regarding the MoA of Immunic's development projects
• Drive scientific discussions within the team and with external partners
• Develop concepts for MoA studies in collaboration with academia and CROs and execute them
• Prepare scientific slide decks/posters for conferences, business, and investor presentations
• Present data internally and on scientific conferences
• Support preparation of scientific publications and grant applications
• Critically assess received reports from externals

• You bring a scientific background in medicine, molecular biology or immunology (PhD level)
• Solid knowledge of analysis of experimental and scientific data
• Experience in scientific presentation and scientific writing
• Knowledge about Inflammatory Bowel Disease or gut barrier function would be a "plus"
• Experience in gene regulation and epigenetics is an advantage
• Very good cultural fit to the current team of Immunic and the Immunic values
• Very good written and oral communication skills in English language, German is a "plus"
• Project management experience with focus on early-stage drug development is a "plus"
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
