Manager (m/w/d) Approvals, Associations and Standards



Outdoor Products / Construction equipment and material handling

Your role:

• Participate in and engage with associations relevant for our garden products and outdoor power equipment
• Develop and optimize work in associations
• Participate in International, European and National Standardization and Working Groups to influence and develop standards
• Exchange of information between us and Associations, Suppliers, Customs, customers, distributors and SBUs
• Inform global development teams, EMEA organization on new standards and trends for upcoming changes and requirements which influences our business
• Carry out and lead approval process
• Participate on reviewing products
• Work together with third party organizations
• Make sure products are compliant and control CE/CB conformity
• Check manuals and the technical documentation in conformity with standards and regulations
• Keep approvals updated
• Support engineering on technical changes and provide advice on standards and regulations
• Structure and archiving of important documents
• Plan and review cost on approvals
• Ensure deadlines and cost targets
• Maintain database on data required by markets (UK9)

Your profile:

• Engineering Degree, Technical or environmental
• Several years of experience in the field of outdoor products / construction equipment / material handling equipment
• Experience in certifying products and/or working with associations
• Strong working knowledge of relevant software packages used in the office environment (MS Office, SAP R/3)
• Good English skills, spoken and written
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Self-confidence, self-employed work style and team spirit
• Willingness to travel
