THE POSITION

Tasks & responsibilities

• By taking over responsibility as capex program manager you set-up our large strategic capex projects in a senior management environment and steer them to success.
• You provide project management guidance to senior project leaders and help shaping the global pm program with its talent pipeline.
• You actively foster and participate in technology innovation programs and establish global engineering standards for improvement of our production and engineering processes at our Biopharma sites in Biberach, Vienna, Fremont or Shanghai.
• In addition, you take care of leveraging the global collaboration and internal exchange of know-how within the Global Department Engineering & Technology and communicate with its external partners as well as internal customers across the Biopharma sites.

Requirements

• Master´s degree in an engineering science, chemical or process engineering or equivalent education
• Several years of experience in management of large capex projects in the process industry, ideally in a cGMP Environment
• Strong leadership competencies and sound management experience. Ability to organize and manage complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Profound expertise in Biopharma technologies (e.g. Upstream, Downstream, Fill & Finish, Process Utilities)
• Motivation and mentoring skills and good understanding of international and interdisciplinary groups for leading project teams and fostering collaboration across sites. Ability and willingness to coach peers
• Efficient and effective communication skills (English and German). Willingness to travel or stay abroad for extended business trips in the context of projects are expected
