Expert for R&D Project Management Office (m/f/d)

As part of our research and development activities, we are looking for an Expert for R&D Project Management Office (m/f/d) based in Einbeck, for our KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGAa entity. This is a full-time and permanent position, to start as soon as possible.

The main task is to develop and maintain project management standards in addition to facilitating a structured project reporting and milestone process in R&D. You are responsible for the training and support of the scientific project leads explaining and implementing standardized project management tools, resulting in greater accountability and success of R&D projects. This will support the overall efficiency of the R&D organization.

In addition, close collaboration with the R&D strategy and controlling group regarding project information and resource requirements will enable the R&D management to make decisions on the future allocation and extension of resources for research projects.What you can expect to do:

• Development, Implementation, Optimization, and Documentation of the Project Management Standards for R&D Projects at KWS
• Training of Project Leads in the use of different project management and reporting tools
• Organization, minute keeping and follow up on measures taken in annual project review meetings and gatekeeper meetings at aligned dates
• Coordination of the activities of the R&D PMO
• Coordination of the setup of Peer Review Teams
• Management and maintenance of the R&D Project Management Database
• Contribution in specific Projects of the R&D Organization

Bring in your strengths:

• University Degree in relevant Plant Science, with a profound knowledge in the field of project management
• Ability to communicate established standards and reporting of complex topics in a standardized reporting format
• Excellent communication skills for the interaction with different internal groups, project leads and management
• Excellent analytical skills would be beneficial
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory. German language skills would be advantageous
• A structured approach to complex challenges
• You are recognized by your self-organization, initiative-taking and team collaboration
