• Responsible for the strategic development and further development of GSD molecular products. The task includes both, the strategic definition on existing markets and current customer requirements, as well as the orientation on new markets and the further development and optimization of existing solutions
• Developing a deep understanding of all competitors and their respective offerings in the marketplace (product differentiation, technical features, pricing, targeting)
• Responsible for business and marketing intelligence of the relevant products
• Specifying and prioritizing customer requirements for current and future product offerings by interacting closely with external customers and Eurofins Labs
• Defining and driving the product roadmap to determine competitive and differentiated product offerings
• Developing financial business plans for new products including cost of development and forecasted revenues and margins
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of existing products
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, including Value Proposition Claim and Product Value Proposition
• Defining pricing of product line
• Supporting the commercial team with market launch and product training packages (internal and external)
• Liaising with Regulatory Affairs team on validation and accreditation roadmaps for the assigned product line
• Collaborating with Marketing team to develop marketing material outlining the key differentiators of products
• Strong hands-on mentality and representing GSD/Eurofins at customer side as well as conferences, trade shows, etc
• Frequent internal/external customer interaction, such as visits, trainings, on-site demonstrations, application support of related products

• Scientific degree with an academic background in (Molecular) Biology, Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry or other relevant fields combined with a business attitude
• Work experience in Product Management and Marketing of diagnostic technologies (Nucleic Acid Isolation, PCR and Real-Time PCR) desirable. In addition to applicants with professional experience, we also integrate dynamic career starters into our team
• Product market knowledge in clinical research and molecular testing (IVD)
• Strong organizational talent and can project manage multiple workstreams

• Manages to influence stakeholders in R&D, Manufacturing and Sales in order to maximize potential of product line
• Experienced in direct customer interaction and deeply aware of customer needs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Global travel (up to 15%)
