• You manage and guide software, automation, and optimization projects
• You proactively manage process and system integration, taking on the role of an enterprise/solution architect and making architecture decisions
• You drive continuous development and consolidation of the automation architecture - in line with the company strategy, alignment to Industry 4.0, and the business model
• You identify and operationalize optimization projects in terms of time to market, quality, flexibility, downtime, and manage horizontal and vertical process integration
• You create use cases with stakeholders and end users for customized and demand-driven solutions
• You implement new program functionalities including validation
• You advise and support our production and engineering teams with your expertise
• You are keen on learning new topics and continuously developing into new areas (e.g. data science, PAT, continuous manufacturing), thereby shaping a culture of continuous learning, technological excellence, and open innovation

• Academic degree in the field of process informatics or automation technology
• Practical experience working with PC-based control and software systems, as well as PLC programming and hardware (e.g. Siemens)
• Knowledge and practical experience with level 3 automation systems, as well as integration platforms (e.g. crosser, Boomi), to shape viable automation solutions
• Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes, as well as horizontal and vertical process integration
• Knowledge of simulation software and GMP experience is an advantage
• Able to ensure smooth production with your availability for occasional on-call coverage outside of core business hours during the week and on weekends
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a very good command of written and spoken English
• Being proactive, structured, and effective working in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams is second nature to you
• High degree of self-management, pragmatism, and goal-oriented
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills complete your profile
