European XFEL is an international non-profit company located in the Hamburg area in Germany. It operates a 3.4 km-long X-ray laser, which produces X-rays of unique quality for studies in physics, chemistry, the life sciences, materials research and other disciplines. The diverse scientific facilities at European XFEL enable scientists from across the globe to carry out a wide range of experimental techniques.

For our ITDM group we are looking for an

ERP Administrator (f/m/d)

The position

• Serve as the liaison between ERP system users and the software vendor’s technical support teams
• Provide first level technical support to the users and resolve any ERP related incident
• Work with other groups representatives and help to diagnose, fix, and prevent any IT and ERP related issues
• Maintain security, reliability and content consistency for the ERP system through the adequate monitoring
• Coordinate new software releases, patches and upgrades with technical teams and users
• Recommend new features or changes to configurations and workflows based on users feedback
• Implement system modifications and extensions, such as developing programmatic interfaces between the ERP and other European XFEL systems
• Document administration processes
• Administration of other ERP related web applications as required

Requirements

• Bachelor in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with ERP support and administration
• Proven experience in application support and administration
• Knowledge of Infor ERP and MS SQL is a plus
• Very good communication skills in English

Salary and benefits are similar to those of public service organizations in Germany.
