The Sub Business Unit (SBU) Special Crops & Organic Seed is a creative and dynamic group of colleagues who provide real products for future challenges. We invite you to pilot the new and master the complex with us in order to grow KWS. The Head of Special Crops & Organic Seed will work towards executing an ambitious strategic plan, that will help KWS answer some of the most challenging questions of the future, while deriving and formulating the future strategic path of the SBU within KWS. The position is located at our flagship organic farm
Wiebrechtshausen in Northeim,
Germany, where the SBU Special Crops & Organic Seed has its very own headquarter. You will also have the possibility to work remote partly. The contract will be unlimited and fulltime with
KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA.
Challenge yourself:- Be fully responsible for the financial result of the SBU Special Crops & Organic Seed
- Drive the commercial success of SBU Special Crops & Organic Seed by effectively engaging internal sales channels and customers
- Lead and continuously develop the growing SBU team
- Strategic development of the Sub Business Unit Special Crops & Organic Seed
- Effectively engage KWS Marketing and SBU-internal Product Management to create and employ product-specific marketing content
- Leverage the SBU-internal Product Management and Production capabilities to serve current and future product needs
- Frequently travel on behalf of the business (app. 20-50%)
Build on your strengths: - An entrepreneurial mindset and commercial understanding and drive
- Ability to manage a high degree of complexity and to build networks
- Finished study in agribusiness, agricultural economics, agriculture in general or general business
- Experience in a sales position, ideally within the agribusiness sector
- First experience in leading and managing organizational units, international teams and results
- Fluent in English is required, German would be very beneficial. Other languages would be a plus
