more informationResponsibilities:You will be part of the Hamilton Software Development team that develops state-of-the-art laboratory automation solutions, using agile methodologies. As a Software Project Manager, you will play a key role in the creation of new OEM products. In doing so, you will fulfill a broad range of tasks throughout the software life cycle process, from requirements analysis through software design and development phases, up to release.

Areas of Focus:

• As the interface between Development and Product Management, you will support Sales and provide technical leadership to the project team during implementation
• You will develop concepts, project plans, effort estimates, and translate customer requirements into use cases and software requirements
• You will coordinate the planning and implementation of development iterations
• Together with the project team, you will reflect on and optimize development iterations in terms of quality and adherence to deadlines
• You will support the Development team in creating regulatory-compliant documentation for software, in accordance with IEC 62304

Qualifications: You are an ideal fit for our team if you have a university degree (FH/Uni) in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or a similar field of study. We require Project Management experience in the software area, as well as good English skills. Knowledge in the field of Laboratory Automation is an advantage. We are looking for a creative and communicative personality with a structured way of working; someone who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams and moves confidently within an international customer environment. • You have the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a goal-oriented manner, and you speak the language of both Biologists and Software Developers
• You already have sound practical experience in Software Development and Software Project Management for medical devices
• You have experience with regulatory-compliant documentation of medical devices, in accordance with IEC 62304
• You have process knowledge in the area of Agile Software Development and have experience in the use of the appropriate tools
• You bring experience in the area of Requirements Engineering and Requirements Management

The following qualities would be a plus:

• You have experience in both Application Development and UI/UX Design
• You already have experience with Hamilton products and bring enthusiasm for Laboratory Automation
• You have a confident demeanor, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills.
