QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

This section will assist you in accurately describing the position qualifications and in determining that each requirement is a bonafide qualification.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for implementation of process and machine solutions, project definition, project management as required, and project execution either as team leader or team member.
• Responsible to lead problem solving teams to address complex issues using the best industry practices and most cost-effective solutions.
• Responsible to ensure the respect of mandatory German and European directives regarding mechanical equipment
• Supervise and manage outside contractors as necessary to complete project work.
• Responsible for implementation of small to medium size projects involving equipment and process modifications to support introduction of new products and changes to existing products.
• Responsible for completion of action items as assigned from safety audits, observations, or other investigations.
• Assumption of tasks in day-to-day business

BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES (Must have):

• Must have a minimum 2-4 year process/mechanical engineering experience with proven track record of project completions.
• Demonstrated leadership of other people or other multi-functional groups.
• The Project/Mechanical Engineer must possess excellent organizational skills in the areas of project management, time management, and work prioritization. The Project/Mechanical Engineer is expected to assist the manufacturing and plant management with work prioritization through recommendations of process improvement needs.
• Must possess excellent leadership skills including good written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, conflict resolution skills and team building skills in order to work and lead within the manufacturing team.
• As internal reference for national and European directives, experience and knowledge in European and German regulation for mechanical equipment (machines, equipment under pressure) is required.
• Experience in production environment and knowledge in process engineering is a plus.
