Join the strategic product marketing team of Agilent’s Liquid Phase Separation Division to craft innovative solutions for comprehensive bio-analytical workflows.

As the Product Manager (m/f/d) for biopharma workflow solutions you will be responsible for the collection and prioritization of customer requirements.
You will work closely with multiple functions like R&D, Quality and Support, Sales and Services, Production and Application within the Liquid Phase Separation Division, the Software Informatics Division and other instrument divisions within Agilent.
You will help to shape workflow solutions for biopharma customers and you will be responsible for the definition of new products.
You will play a key-contributing role in Agilent’s biopharmaceutical strategy.

Product Manager Biopharma Solutions (m/f/d)

#RM4015607Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to define new workflow solutions for biopharma. Act as voice of customer and clearly articulate customer needs, market trends, application and regulatory drivers to the cross-functional team and management
• Take initiative and develop compelling business cases as input for the strategic planning process
• Collaborate with the technical marketing team on the definition of products for biopharma
• Monitor product development projects and handle product launches and sales training to secure effective ramp-to-volume on new product introductions
• Interaction with the sales and marketing channel to plan and execute the worldwide commercialization.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and determine product positioning and pricing
• Travel internationally (<10%) to present your products and educate customers and the Agilent sales & service teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or University Degree in Sciences (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent)
• Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience, e.g. in bioanalytic/bioprocess development or with an analytical instrument manufacturer
• As the ideal candidate you have a deep understanding of the analysis of critical quality attributes for monoclonal antibodies or new modalities.
• You have practical experience in multiple bio-analytical techniques such as liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.
• Knowledge in the development of multiple attribute methods, ideally in conjunction with quality by design approaches would be an advantage.
• Familiar with innovative analytical lab techniques for critical quality attributes of monoclonal antibodies or new modalities
• Hands-on experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry for bio molecules
• Overview of the competitive landscape of analytical instruments, understanding of strengths and weaknesses of competitors offerings
• Knowledge in business financials and marketing analytics is a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in English
