For our Animal Health R&D site in Schwabenheim near Mainz, we are currently looking for a qualified



Assoc. Principal Scientist (m/f/d) Bioanalytical.

The position is permanent & full-time.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • As a bioanalytical representative in various project teams, you will work together with other experts to strengthen the internal pipeline of drug candidates and extend approvals of already marketed drug products
  • In OECD GLP and non-GLP environments, you will lead internal bioanalytical studies/ global bioanalytical phases as study director/principal investigator
  • You will contract and monitor outsourced bioanalytical activities placed at global CROs and foster cooperation with international colleagues
  • To address project demands, you will initiate and manage the development, validation, and execution of state-of-the-art LC-MS2 methods
  • You will scientifically interpret and report bioanalytical results and support the preparation of dossiers for submission to the authorities
Your Profile:
  • PhD or M.Sc. in analytical chemistry or related discipline with several years of experience as study director/principal investigator in an OECD GLP environment
  • Highly familiar with international, bioanalytical regulatory requirements for new veterinary drug applications and method validations
  • Proficient in the contracting and monitoring of outsourced bioanalytical activities
  • Advanced experience with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry and sample cleanup strategies for analysis of small molecules from biological matrices and automation thereof is required
  • Demonstrated ability to drive for results, lead innovation and change.
  • The ability to provide leadership in a multidisciplinary project team with excellent communication skills in the English language is a must, German language skills highly desirable
