• You will represent Manufacturing in cross-functional projects and ensure a close collaboration with internal partner, such as R&D, Marketing and QA throughout the development cycle of new ScreenTape Assays.
• You will drive automation projects and ensure a close liaison to internal and external partner. Thereby you meet organization’s objectives related to quality, cost, delivery performance and schedule.
• You will transfer the customer’s and user’s view into production processes and become the first point of contact regarding electrophoresis expertise within the Engineering Team.
• You actively seek improvements in production processes by developing and implementing innovative ideas and automated technologies, using statistic-based experimentation, risk mitigation and principles of process excellence.
• To thrive high-level quality-work you assume responsibility for a clear and compliant documentation within the quality management systems DIN EN ISO 9001 and 13485, e.g., change control or deviation management.

Qualifications

• You hold a master’s degree or above in biochemistry, biology, chemistry or equivalent with advanced level technical experience.
• You gained 3-5 years practical experience in either a production or research environment (Biotech, pharma) or profound research experience in Academia.
• You have a strong record in project management and first experience in organizing smaller teams.
• German and English fluent skills (spoken and written)

Additional skills and qualifications:

• Practical expert knowledge with statistical experimental designs (DoE) and subsequent process analysis using statistical methods (FMEA, Equipment qualification).
• Systematic, goal oriented and self-consistent working methods, ability to drive projects in parallel
• Ability to understand complex technical relations and to develop innovative solutions. Ability to present complex matters in a comprehensive and focused way.
• Ability to travel international/occasionally
