bTrace Tomorrow is the digitalization unit within machine manufacturer BAADER. The focus is on an interdisciplinary team of digitalization experts who are committed to using digital possibilities and a global network of partners to improve the entire food value chain for all stakeholders involved – for an innovative, transparent and safe food supply.

Our goal is to support food processing with digital solutions in a way that makes it more sustainable, efficient, and improves animal welfare. The key factor to reach these goals is excellence in the team, the technology, and the agile processes. We are striving for a flat hierarchy with self-organizing agile teams with a high degree of autonomy. We offer offices in Hamburg and Lübeck and much flexibility regarding how often and when you come in.

You can be part of reaching our goals by shaping the solutions in all these areas in the strategic role of an Agile Coach and Scrum Master. We see this role as strategically crucial to be successful in the digitalization of our machines and the production processes. You’ll have the possibility to significantly design our agile values and processes and make sure they are part of our strategy and our teams are able to work in a trustful environment. You’ll be responsible for the agility of single teams as well as cross-team scaled agile concepts to make sure that dependencies, e.g. between our platform team and a digital products team, are handled correctly.



Your role:

  • You will accompany our IoT platform and digital product development teams as a Scum Master and trusted servant leader.
  • In this role, you will coach the development teams as well as any involved individuals in agile values, principles, methods to make sure that an efficient working environment is established.
  • Together with the teams, you will constantly analyze our processes and ways of working in retrospectives and establish experiments and measures for a continuous improvement.
  • You will support our product owners in creating, refining, and maintaining our story map and product backlogs and help improving user and customer centricity.
  • You are responsible for facilitating our Scrum and other agile events.
  • Support the self-management of our teams and promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • You will drive the agile transformation of our company in collaboration with other responsible stakeholders.


Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed studies in computer science or have a comparable qualification.
  • You gained relevant work experience as a Scrum master and/or agile coach.
  • You  know the agile values, methods, and processes.
  • Ideally, you are certified (e.g. ICP-ICC, CSM or similar).
  • You are  an empathic team-player, you are a  moderator and coach.
  • You bring in ideas and like to try out new thinks and regularly  questions the current state.
  • You are used to work with common tools within the agile software development, e.g. Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in industrial software development, especially in industrial internet of things is a benefit but not a must have.
  • Communication skills in English – and ideally also in German.
